The goal of the physical education program is to develop students who become physically educated people, who possess the knowledge, skills, and confidence to enjoy an active and healthy lifestyle. That they are able to select movement activities pertinent to their interests and personal purposes, throughout their lives.
For this reason, this course for fifth grade will provide experiences that allow the student to be physically educated in harmony with the environment and their peers.
Through the activities of the class, the student will be able to know the importance of taking care of their body, being this the temple of the Holy Spirit.
The student will participate in sports and recreational activities, in groups and individually, applying the rules and regulations in game situations; will show respectful social skills and attitudes regardless of sports skills, cultural and gender differences.
Throughout the course the student will use reading, technology, and communication as a source of consultation and as a support resource for the achievement of their learning.

This course is designed for teaching students in how to be able to read a story and interact it with listening, reading, spelling, analyzing, and vocabulary skills. The course will widen the students’ knowledge and understanding of the world that surrounds them by using their imagination, creativity, family values and judgment.
